FOOD: Please provide food for the length of your pet’s stay. Food should be separated into individual meals using plastic bags or containers. Please label each meal with your pet's first and last name. Any additional items such as canned food, cooked chicken, etc. should be labeled on the side with your pet’s first and last name and the amount to be given per feeding. Freezer and refrigerator space is available.
TREATS: Please put any desired treats inside your pet's individual meal bags. Please, no rawhides or jerky treats.
Your pet’s belongings will be stored in a cubby 13x13x15in while at The Dog House. Please do not provide belongings that will not fit in this cubby. MEDICATIONS: Please see our
medication guidelines and complete a
medication form for each medication (a new form must be provided for each visit). Each medication should be provided to us in a medication holder.
COLLAR/TAGS: Your pet should be wearing a well-fitting collar or harness at the time of drop off. Collars MUST have a quick release buckle (
example). This collar or harness will remain on your pet for the length of his/her stay (unless removal is medically necessary). No “choke” style collars or metal collars are permitted. Please make sure your pet is also wearing an ID tag with his/her name. If you do not have an ID tag, engravable metal tags are available for purchase in our lobby. Flea collars may come off during play; please make sure your pet's name is written on the inside of the collar to be sure it's returned to you.
The Dog House provides everything else needed for his/her stay (beds, food scoops, bowls, etc.).
