Doggie Daycare

Daycare guests spend the day with dogs of similar
size/temperament. All dogs are carefully screened prior to being accepted for daycare.
Guests are constantly supervised, whether indoors in one of our several climate controlled play areas or romping with friends in one of our outdoor play yards complete with artificial turf.
Low energy areas available for senior/special needs pets.

Daycare Services

Cage Free Boarding

Pets will spend a full day participating in our daycare services and then spend the evening in
our communal home-like setting. Dog House staff is on hand 24/7 providing constant care and affection.
Pets have a choice of comfy couches or plush dog beds for their overnight stay. Or they are more than welcome to cuddle up with staff!
We will do our best to accommodate all pets special needs and medication requirements

We are the only facility in Bloomington staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. All staff are pet CPR certified and participate in ongoing behavioral education. Pet care is our passion and we will do all we can to make your pet’s visit happy and stress free-for them and for you!

Our Story

The Dog House was founded in 2005 by Jim and Beth Dasenbrock. We joined the pet care industry in 2001 as in-home pet sitters and, through word of mouth from our amazing clients, our little business grew into its current incarnation.

Our focus and our passion is on creating a home away from home for your beloved pet. We believe in bettering the lives of the pets in our care, their people, our team, and this community. We are committed to ongoing staff training using the most cutting edge programs available. We appreciate the level of trust placed in a pet care provider and we are dedicated to making your pet feel like part of the family.
